Marino Latest to Reconsider Retirement
SOMEWHERE MAKING THIS UP (SP) -- Following Packer QB Brett Favre's lead, Nutri-Systems spokesperson Dan Marino is considering a return to football.
SPORTING PRESS has learned the Hall of Fame quarterback has had conversations with Miami Dolphins execs about returning as the Fins' signal caller.
Sources tell SPORTING PRESS that a meeting with Miami's Executive Vice President Bill Parcells ended badly, however, when Parcells ate Marino. The immobile quarterback was no match for the Big Tuna's massive appetite.
